Prerequisite: CHIN 10163 with a C- or above, or approval of instructor. CHIN 20053 will develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills at the intermediate level. Working with familiar topics, students will learn to comprehend short paragraph-level utterances; interact effectively in a variety of straightforward, concrete conversational situations; and read short paragraphs and write short, well-focused descriptive or narrative works.
