One hour of lecture per week and seven 4-hour laboratory periods during the semester. Prerequisite: CHEM 10122 or 20123 with a grade of C- or better and prior or concurrent registration in CHEM 30123. Techniques of purification, characterization, and synthesis of organic compounds.
