Long Description (Catalog Description)
Pre-requisites: Completion of BIOL 20204, NTDT major, BSE in Science Education major, or permission of instructor. Three hours lecture and one laboratory period per week. Microorganisms and the manner in which they affect health; characteristics, growth requirements, methods of transfer, and reactions of the body toward invading organisms and the principles underlying immunity. This course cannot be applied to the Biology BA, Biology BS, or Biomedical Sciences BS degree and is not intended for pre-health students applying to professional schools such as medical, dental, PA, or veterinary schools. Credit will not be given for both BIOL 20234 and 30304.
