Long Description (Catalog Description)

Prerequisite: limited to students who are majoring in Nursing (not Nursing pre-majors) and students whose first major is Kinesiology (not Kinesiology minors). Three hours lecture and one laboratory period per week. The structure and function of cells and tissues; the architectural plan of the human body, and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular systems and nervous systems. This course is intended for science majors that require Anatomy and Physiology as a prerequisite for application to graduate or professional school as well as Nursing, Health and Fitness, and Athletic Training majors.
