Long Description (Catalog Description)
Prerequisite: limited to students who are majoring in Nursing (not Nursing pre-majors), students whose first major is Kinesiology (not Kinesiology minors), junior and senior-level students with the pre-health PA tag, or instructor permission. Three hours lecture and one laboratory period per week. The structure and function of cells and tissues; the architectural plan of the human body, and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular systems and nervous systems. This course is intended for Nursing, Health and Fitness, and Athletic Training majors as well as College of Science and Engineering majors who require Anatomy and Physiology as a prerequisite for application to graduate or professional school.
